Donation for Development of Elegu Islamic nursery and primary school
Elegu Islamic Nursery and Primary School is a fully licensed and registered Muslim-founded non-governmental institution located in Elegu Town Council, Amuru District, Northern Uganda. Established in 2022, the school was founded to provide affordable, quality, faith-based, and holistic education to children from a vulnerable and underserved community. The school has experienced rapid growth, increasing from 283 direct beneficiaries in 2022 to 598 direct beneficiaries by end of 2025, making it the only Islamic school serving over 5,000 indirect beneficiaries mostly Muslims and also children from other religious denominations in Elegu Town Council as well as children crossing the border for studies from South Sudan.
